Hi Newgrounders!

Some (maybe) of you may know my series Dr. Shroud way back in the early days of Newgrounds.  If so (or even if not), I now invite you to check out my new comic series, Cyko KO (pronounced Psycho-KAY-OH) on Line Webtoon.  If you're not familiar with Webtoon, it's a comics platform with a variety of weekly digital comics.

Cyko KO is the first US series that utilizes Line's software to create animated comics and sound for their platform and while the technology is still in its infancy, it's still pretty cool.

The series is a throwback similar to Superfriends, Hanna Barbera animation and possibly something that could be seen on Adult Swim.  I'm looking to get some new people reading it, so if you can bop on over there and check it out, I'd be eternally grateful.  I'm hoping to get a fully animated version right here on NG.

Thanks!

-Rob Feldman

As you may know, I started a campaign last month to bring my animated series Dr. Shroud, which started right here in Newgrounds, to life as a live action series. The campaign ends in 12 days and I thought I would ask everyone here for help. If you enjoyed the series, you can see that it will make a killer (pun intended) live action short form show. Please help if you can.
Thanks, Rob

Hi there:
For those of you familiar with the Dr. Shroud animated series (which started right here on Newgrounds over 10 years ago), I am creating a live action version (real people) of Dr. Shroud as a short form series. We will be filming right here in Pennsylvania a series of six, 5-minute episodes in the vein of a live action retro 70s horror tv series. True to the animated version, it will have all the b-movie aspects, gadgets and creepy characters.

Like the entire planet, I have decided to crowdfund this after 3 feature film options, the last being the closest with Nicolas Cage and Guillermo Del Toro's interest.

We shot a teaser on a hot day in July in Perkasie, PA, which can be seen in the link below in the Gallery section or in my pitch video. You can see the the vibe of the live Dr. Shroud in that 30 second teaser. If you can contribute to the campaign, even small amounts, and/or share it, it would be greatly appreciated! Here is the link:

Thanks as always,
Rob

Hey! I uploaded a new Dr. Shroud adventure, "The Horseleech". I have been creating new episodes of Dr. Shroud, not as many as I would like due to lack of time, but hopefully you'll enjoy these as they arrive. The new adventures take Shroud along the Skull Kill River as he searches for his daughter Wendy and encounters some pretty ugly vampires inspired by lore found in different cultures.

Fangoria has embraced Dr. Shroud pretty heavily and is helping to bring Dr. Shroud to life as a live action feature film (we even have some great name actors attached!). Hopefully you'll see it in theatres within the next couple of years. We have a killer script and there is a lot of investor and studio interest.

In the meantime, I hope to post more of these on NG, as well as some of my other work. Thanks for watching!

UPDATED: Mucho thanks for front page post!!

Hi there:
I am looking for different promotional items you may have for your comic, animation, indie art or other property: stickers, toys, etc. Generally, these would be those items found on a "freebie table" at a convention, giveaways at your convention table/booth or promos from a street team. I can help promote your work through a unique and fun distribution point. Only a select number of items will be considered.

Product must be:

1) Your work, all rights belong to you.
2) Free
3) Less than 2" in size
4) Unique looking in design and shape
5) Limited---most likely never to be reproduced again

If you are interested in taking part, please let me know at rob@earwormmedia.com.

Thanks, hope to hear from you!

If you're going to be at Comicon this year, make sure you stop by the Dr. Shroud / Fangoria booth #1736 for cool freebies. I'll hopefully be showing a new episode and will have a bunch of stuff on hand including new tshirts, stickers and action figures. Be there or die!
